Raleigh, North Carolina is one of the three cities that collectively make up Research Triangle Park. The other cities are Chapel Hill and Durham. The area earned this nickname due to its three major universities: North Carolina State in Raleigh, Duke University in Durham, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Having these three major universities in such close proximity obviously creates an intense sports rivalry. Actually intense isn't even the word. If you're a college basketball fan, you must visit during the season-- the locals get down right vicious! The Blue Devil fans taunt the Carolina Tar Heels, while N.C. State fans voice their dislike for both of the aforementioned. The close proximity of the three major universities has another effect on the area — it fosters cultural activities and events that benefit the region as a whole.

Ordering your appetizer and meal will be the hard part. The selection is vast, and although you can't make a wrong decision, I'd highly recommend the New York and Eel Rolls from the Japanese menu, as well as the Chicken Red Curry from the Thai menu.
