Our Spain Trip

Madrid, Spain

We flew non stop from Miami to Madrid with AA, great flight, no problems or delays even with all the problems with the volcano, our trip to Spain was amazing, great cuisine, wines, culture, architecture, and most important Passion, Spanish people have passion for what they do, their wine, their food, their country, truly an inspiration!!!!!!! Loved it! and the Spanish wines OUT OF THIS WORLD!
We went to Ciudad Real Food and Wine Show, even the prince of Asturias attended, well organized, great logistics and marketing.

Jazz and Blues in Madrid

Madrid, Spain

Madrid is my favorite city in Spain. It could be the Muslim and Roman influenced architecture, which is prevalent in the majority of the buildings in the city. I like to think Madrid has a slower pace than Barcelona that is perfect to soak in the history, culture, food, and music. I've had some of the best meals in my life in Madrid.

The immediate thought of Spain and music has primarily been flamenco. But, if you search and ask, you will always find a gem the locals adore. This is how my significant other discovered the beautiful little secret that is El Junco. This jazz and blues club is centrally located in the heart of Madrid. At the end of a day spent strolling Plaza Mayor, a decadent meal of various tapas, Jambón imbérico and vast amounts of Rioja, this is the best way to cap off dinner (which never starts before 10:00pm). Visitors should head to El Junco to partake in the best live music the city while sipping some of the local Sherry.
