The American Black Film Festival

Miami, Florida

If you are looking to spend some time in Miami, consider going in June for the American Black Film Festival . It’s an extraordinary annual event that you should definitely consider attending. The festival draws who’s who in film and entertainment, such as Spike Lee, Soledad O’brien and Idris Elba.

The ABFF is a four-day retreat and international film market. It’s dedicated to strengthening the black film making community through resource sharing, education, artistic, collaboration and career development.

Each day you will have a vast array of film and television industry panels, movie screening, movie premieres, networking opportunities to attend. The days usually end networking parties in the evenings. Check out pictures from this year’s festival.
